Master of Science in Chemistry

The Master of Science in Chemistry (MSc Chem) Program is an Academic Track that aims to hone graduate students’ knowledge and skills in advanced chemical theories and emerging technologies in chemistry. Inspired by the Ignatian leadership, the students are geared to address contemporary societal and environmental issues and thereby contribute to research and development. It aims to produce graduates that are well equipped, employ scientific rigor in solving some of the pressing problems in Mindanao. The MSc Chem students, after completing their coursework, must pass the comprehensive examination, propose and conduct their thesis. This academic program adheres to the CHED requirement on publication of a student’s thesis in a peer-reviewed journal for the completion of the course.
