Master of Arts in Anthropology
The Ateneo Institute of Anthropology (AIA) is a hub for anthropological scholarship that aims to enrich public understanding of the diverse cultures of Mindanao. It aims to produce knowledge and foster understanding about our diversity as a possible way of understanding the nature of humanity and cultivating respect for difference. An understanding and respect that will “witness to the reconciliation in solidarity of all the children of God” (GC 35, D.3, n.43), and hopefully contribute to the building of an inclusive, multicultural and just society.
